Shillong, September 17, 2004: A meeting of the Steering Committee of Mini Mission - II (Production) of the Centrally sponsored Scheme ‘Technology Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture in North Eastern States, Sikkim, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttaranchal’, under the Chairmanship of Additional Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, will be held on September 20, 2004, at 10:00 A.M. in Pine Wood Hotel, Meghalaya, Shillong.

Shillong, September 17, 2004: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), Ri Bhoi District, has informed the public that rice under BPL and AAY for the month of August and September, 2004, have been released through their respective Fair Price Shops. For BPL, rice will be distributed at the scale of 35 kgs per card per month at the rate to be fixed by the Village Dorbar, while for AAY, rice will be distributed at the scale of 35 kgs per card per month at the rate of Rs. 3/- per kg.
