REVISED RATE OF PETROL AND DIESEL

Shillong, June 25, 2004: Consequent upon the revised rates of Motor Spirit (ULP) and High Speed Diesel (HSD) which has come into effect from 16.6.2004, the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong has revised the rates of MS and HSD from the said date.

The retail selling price of MS and HSD per litre at Ashok Auto Service, Shillong will now be Rs. 35.28p and Rs. 21.54p, at United Hills Super S.S., Shillong is Rs. 35.28p and Rs. 21.54p, at Mahari & Sons, Shillong is Rs. 35.26p and Rs. 21.53p, at Bawri Service Station, Shillong is Rs. 35.28p and Rs. 21.54p, at Bawri Hills Service Station, Mawlai is Rs. 35.26p and Rs. 21.53p, at Abigail Service Station, Nongthymmai is Rs. 35.27p and Rs. 21.54p, at Shillong Highway, Mawlyndep is Rs. 35.21p and Rs. 21.51p, at Kurbah Service Station, Mawngap is Rs. 35.28p and Rs. 21.56p and the rate at Moorland Sooting, Sohra is Rs. 35.26p and Rs. 21.53p respectively.

Any overcharging of the above mentioned prices by the dealers of the company, may kindly bring to the notice of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong.

LEVY SUGAR FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE RELEASED

Shillong, June 25, 2004: The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong has informed the public consumers of Greater Shillong that Levy Sugar against June 2004 quota has been released and will be distributed through the Fair Price Shops. The scale of issue is 510 grams per head per month at the rate of Rs. 13.50p per kg.

Any non-supply or overcharging of the rate by the supplier may be brought to the notice of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), East Khasi Hills, Shillong along with the details.

PROPOSAL TO RESUME LEASED LAND AT RILBONG

Shillong, June 25, 2004: The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong, has notified that the Government of Meghalaya in the Revenue Department has proposed to resume the two lands at Rilbong covered by Patta No.23 plot No.36 (New Plot No.47) with an area of about 6720 Sq.ft and another covered by Patta No.39 Plot No.39 (New Plot No.46) with an area of about 2418 Sq.ft. These properties were leased out to Malvi Intaz Uddin Ahmed in Rilbong area within Kench’s Trace, the leases of which expired in the year 1966 and the leesee has already migrated to Bangladesh.

Any one having objections/representations/claims, may file the same to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner within 15 days from the date of publication of the notice.
